Fall 2015- Washington, DC Marketing and Media Internship
Washington Intern Student Housing (WISH) is an intern housing and residential life services provider in Washington DC. WISH has hosted students and college groups for over 20 years in furnished, students-only buildings in the historic District on a semester basis. The marketing intern plans, produces and implements marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM and Social Media, for WISH with assistance from staff.

Participate in marketing and media meetings, interpret analytics and reports
Maintain and grow marketing database
Produce marketing materials for email/mail/social media
Market to known and new internship coordinators and other clients
Attend events on weeknights or weekends to produce video and photo marketing materials
Prepare tentative marketing goals and schedule for the next semester

-Great verbal and written communication skills
-Familiarity with basic search engine and social media marketing principles and platforms
-Experience producing basic social and e-marketing materials in MS Office environment
-Good organizational skills
-Self-starters encouraged

HOURS: This internship requires 30-40 hours per week. The intern is expected to work in the WISH office 3-4 days per week and attend events once per week on weeknights or weekends. *This position can be a part-time internship for those already interning part time.

COMPENSATION: This internship is unpaid but free furnished semester housing is provided in a WISH location. Start date is mid August and end date is mid December with some flexibility. WISH will work with academic advisors and faculty to support college credits.

Writer/Researcher Intern
Green Living AZ Magazine is looking for an energetic and positive lifestyle research intern. Great opportunity to get published and break into the green media market!

The Job:
• Work directly with the Editor-In-Chief and Writers

Photography Intern
Can you capture life through the lens? Can you tell stories through images? Green Living magazine is seeking talented, creative student photographers who will have a direct impact on the visual appeal of this publication. This unpaid internship offers an opportunity to build a portfolio and expand on photography and image-editing skills while exploring the world of sustainability and living green. Interns will be supervised by the editor-in-chief and creative director and will work both independently and with writers on assignments.

Qualified applicants are students of photography who can provide samples of their work. They must have their own equipment, including a quality camera and access to Photoshop. Students must demonstrate a level of professionalism, organization and adherence to deadline necessary for success in the publishing industry.

Other desired qualifications: self-motivation, ability to work with writers and design team, basic understanding of sustainability and green lifestyle, ability to converse with subjects and accurately capture necessary information at photo shoots, ability to take direction and desire to improve. 15-20 hours a week.

Position: Marketing Intern, Fall 2015

Position Summary: MIM seeks an intern to work alongside its marketing team on various aspects of media relations, advertising and community outreach for MIM and MIM Music Theater. Tasks will include: marketing and media relations strategy development, media research and outreach, community group research and outreach, artist relations, relationship building, copywriting and proofing, collateral development, ambassadorship and other activities as needed.

Fall 2015- Digital Content Internship
The Center for the Future of Arizona (CFA) is seeking 6 to 8 undergraduate interns to regularly aggregate digital content and copy from our partner organizations in Arizona and nationally and write one original web posts on a weekly basis. All content will be based on the Arizona We Want Citizen Goals of education, job creation, environment, infrastructure, healthcare, community involvement, citizen engagement and retaining young talent. The web posts will be featured on the new Arizona We Want Exchange and through our other social media channels.

Interns will receive byline credit for original web posts.
Interns will work in a team environment and report to a graduate student editor and The Arizona We Want Director, Darcy Renfro.
