Vincent Serpico

Autism Channel- Volunteer writer
The Autism Channel is all autism all the time and is currently being seen in over 23,000 homes worldwide. It is our hope to begin a daily newscast starting September 2nd. The person does not need to know a great deal (or anything) about autism (trust us they will learn). The material for each newscast is actually fed to our Internet news site at WorldNews@TheAutismChannel.tv and would be forwarded to the writer.

While this is a volunteer position to start it very well could be a paid position at the end of this year. Because we are an “on demand” streaming channel there no time constraints in terms of the newscast length.. The writer would only need to write 5 to 8 minutes of copy (more due to good stories is fine). We would need all five scripts (Monday through Friday) done before Saturday evening each week as our anchor will be recording the casts at one time on Sunday from Chicago. Rare exceptions might occur during important breaking stories.

The writer will receive full credit during the end roll at each newscast. Each month we are added to another “connected” or “smart” device such as (this month) Panasonic Viera smart TVs and Blu-ray units. Around the end of this year we will reach over 100 million homes worldwide including on major gaming consoles.

Even though we are located in West Palm Beach our writer can be/work from anywhere.

Interested parties should email the above address or Producers@TheAutismChannel.tv or phone 855 882-8847 ext 772 for more information or to apply.
