EAST COAST
Influence Alley is expanding blog to cover Congress and is recruiting younger reporters and a deputy to help me run it. We don’t need traditional House and Senate reporters – we already have a talented team up there – but want reporters interested in covering power, influence and people. And, perhaps most importantly, reporters who have a demonstrated Web ethic and understand that a blog is a running conversation with an audience that needs to be constantly engaged with scoops, memes, facts and fun. If you’ve got the talent, flair for writing and want to work in DC, send your clips, resume and most innovative web features soonest to Chris Frates cfrates@nationaljournal.com.

Influence Alley is also looking for a deputy, who likely will have more experience than the reporters, who can assign and edit posts, keep the trains running on time, write a good bit themselves and be a partner in creating a compelling and fun blog. One of the biggest requirements: organization and the ability to run the thing on their own. Send your clips, resume and most innovative web features soonest to Chris Frates cfrates@nationaljournal.com.
